For adult riders

Most of us get one lesson a week. The other six days are where progress is made or lost.

Maybe you started riding as a grown-up, came back after years away, or lost your confidence after a scare. Between Lessons gives every ride between lessons one clear goal, and gives you a plan for the nerves, the seat and the body that riding as an adult asks for.

Questions

Is it for beginners?

Yes, if you already ride at walk and trot. The plans start from where you are, and each step is only a little harder than the last.

I don't own a horse. Does it work?

Yes. It was written for lesson riders and leasers as much as owners. Solo rides can be a practice ride, a lease day or a quiet slot at your barn.

I ride western. Is it for me?

Yes. The confidence work and the home exercises work for any discipline, and the pole exercises work in any arena.

How long does it take?

About 15 minutes for each home session, and one clear goal for each ride you already do.

Do I need equipment?

A chair, a mat and a cushion for STRONG. Ground poles for some SEAT exercises; most barns have them.

Will it replace my instructor?

No, and it isn't meant to. It helps you arrive at each lesson with a goal and practice on your own afterwards.

How do I get the books?

Instantly: a download link appears after checkout and arrives by email.

What if it's not right for me?

Email support@betweenlessons.shop within 30 days and we'll refund you in full.
